Good morning,
I've had an issue with a character transfer receiving my ISK but not starting the transfer and actually accepting another payment for it. I've submitted a ticket and was wondering how long it takes for a resolution or response? |

I thought they may get a higher priority since it involves money/ISK and such. But who knows - more of a thread to vent I suppose :) |

I was talking to the new owner of the toon this morning, we tried tracing the trades/isk/contracts but looks like he took my 8.4b bought it to plexes and then got rid of the plexes or so it was explained to me.
The guy, when I replied to his counter offer said, "ok. isk and account to XXX" I took that as an acceptance... |

Or they "accept" an offer then mess around and accept another offer and transfer to the 2nd buyer. Then the ISK sent by the first buyer, who is not receiving the account, is funneled into assets (PLEX, ships, etc) and then sold to "random" persons". Kind of like ISK laundering. |

It in effect bans the account..... Then CCP says you can buy plex from us to get back to positive. IE holding you Ransom.
Issue is. This guy most likely just bought this account. He's scamming his isk back and more, then once his account has massive neg balance he never logs on it again.
So your meaning that the "seller" actually bought his own account? |

He's scamming his isk back and more, then once his account has massive neg balance he never logs on it again. cant even buy plex to get back if your negative, since it takes ISK to sell things, youd have to trade it, which literaly no one will do because of trade scams. negging a wallet is CCP's way of telling people they are horrible human beings and that they can hopefully go F*** off to somewhere else.
Sucks for them. I just want my ISK back lol. |

Next time I will surely do this. However, based on our the Eve-Mail exchange went, I had reason to believe the bid was accepted. Within minutes of my counter offer I got the "OK, send isk and info to XXX" . Upon my sending of the ISK I replied it was sent and I also confirmed he would acknowledge on the forums. To that I got an "OK". I waited for about 5 minutes before mailing again asking if my info/ISK was received. To this I got an "OK"...Hell even on the ISK transfer I put in the comments it was for a character transfer.
The evidence I have clearly supports my claims and that I acted in good faith based upon the information received. I just feel bad for the guy who "bought" the character, if indeed they would slap it on his wallet. |
